Mary Lakey
My education and career were in healthcare. Since taking early retirement, I feel that I am starting my next life chapter--as an artist. I've always been creative and explored art in many mediums. My work now is mixed media, collage, and acrylic painting. I enjoy color, texture, and pattern. I completed a series of imaginative face paintings inspired by an art retreat in France in 2025. I look forward to new possibilities with Artforms Gallery. I like to challenge myself and these learning experiences will push my art to improve.
